I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for posting your monthly essays. I randomly stumbled across your Twitter account a while back, ended up reading all of your essays from last year, and was inspired to overcome the inertia and start writing myself. It’s something I’d always wanted to do, but found too intimidating to begin.
I know you appreciate knowing that people read what you write, so I wanted to share that your words nudged me a little in the right direction.

I actually think of channeling as a tunnel from the skies to my body, as if my body is a vessel for whatever divine thing wants to be said through me. Maybe that's more spiritual than you meant :)
