Taking bigger bets based on what you’re here for still pays off for folks early in their career with or without AI. Bet on something different not for the sake of being contrarian but it’s a wonderful world where you take risks than even a few decades earlier would have been impossible. I wouldn’t be where I am if I hadn’t been willing to trade off opportunities on the well worn path when I moved to Hainan in 2005 and stayed for the next three years.

Have also been having existential thoughts about work and living with AI and love your perspective of this allowing everyone to become dreamers & have accountability on executing that dream, on this being an opportunity for life to become more idealistic and empowered.
